Farrah Fawcett appeared in several television series, including Harry O from 1974 until 1976, and The Six Million Dollar Man from 1974 until 1978. In 1976, she was cast as Jill Munroe in Charlie’s Angels on ABC.
As the show was a big hit, she unsurprisingly earned a huge amount of fame, going on to receive a Golden Globe nomination. 1976 saw her pose in a red bathing suit for that iconic poster which went on to become the best-selling poster in history, selling over 20 million copies.

Fawcett appeared in Ally McBeal, Spin City, and The Guardian, later on in her career. Her role in The Guardian earned Fawcett her third Emmy nomination. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and went into remission in early 2007.
However, she relapsed and was re-diagnosed in the spring that year, and suffered many complications in her treatment. In June 2009, Fawcett tragically passed away, at the age of 62. However, her millions of fans around the world, will no doubt continue adoring her work.
