Deidre Hall played the infamous Dr. Marlena Evans on Days of Our Lives. For this role, which she played for a staggering 40 years, she earned two Soapy Awards for Best Actress in 1982 and 1983, five different Soap Opera Digest Awards.
She also secured nominations for three Daytime Emmy Awards, and three other Soap Opera Digest Awards. She has also played characters in an incredible number of other television shows and films, including Our House, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, The Young and the Restless, and A Reason to Live.

Deidre Hall’s career has slowed down significantly but doesn’t seem close to completely stopping yet. She played herself in ‘Drop Dead Diva’ in 2011, Fiona Fleming in 2013’s Dating in the Middle Ages, Erin Billings in Lucky in Love in 2014, and in 2016, Victoria in My Christmas Dream.
She has also occasionally hosted the talk radio program, Clout, since 2009, and wrote Deidre Hall’s Kitchen Closeup with Lynne Bowman in 2011. On top of this, Hall received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014.
