Fisher made her debut on our screens as Lorna Karpf in 1975’s comedy, Shampoo. She earned most of her fans by playing Princess Leia in Star Wars in 1977.
By the 80s, Fisher was a beloved actress, appearing in productions such as Ringo, The Blues Brothers, and of course, multiple other Star Wars features, like the Star Wars Holiday Special. She also sang in the latter, showing off her many incredible talents. She became quite the Hollywood star, making acquaintances with many A-list celebrities.

Since 2010, Fisher has appeared in several other Star Wars films as Princess Leia, and the world loved her no less than they previously had. She also starred in Wonderwell in 2016 with Rita Ora, and British comedy series, Catastrophe, from 2015 until 2017.
However, Fisher tragically passed away in 2016, with many of her productions, like a brief appearance in Star Wars: Episode IX and her final episodes of Catastrophe, being released after her passing. The news that Fisher had lost her life broke hearts around the world.
