Catherine Bach’s debut was as one of the young children in the iconic musical, The Sound of Music. She played Natalie in the mystery, The Midnight Man, and Melody in the crime film, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, both in 1974.
She later auditioned for The Dukes of Hazzard, with thanks to her husband who prompted her to do so. She was hired there and then, and went on to play the beloved Daisy Duke in 145 episodes of the show from 1979 to 1985.

Bach later played Margo Dutton in 52 episodes of The Family Channel’s African Skies. She also starred in several The Dukes of Hazzard spin-offs, like The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion! And The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood.
She also played the recurring role of Anita Lawson in The Young and the Restless, beginning in 2012. As if that wasn’t enough, Bach appeared in an episode of Hawaii Five-0 in 2015, played Pearl in the television film, My Best Friend, Ellen in The Breakup Girl in 2015, and Bibiana in Book of Fire.
