Cathy Lee Crosby began her life of fame as a professional tennis player. She competed at the prestigious Wimbledon event in London – the oldest tennis competition in the world – on two occasions.
In the late 1960s, Crosby quit her tennis career, and pursued her acting career, although whether this was the plan or not, we don’t know. She began with appearances on It Takes a Thief and The Laughing Policeman, before her most notable role as the title character in Wonder Woman. She also appeared in The Dark, Trackdown, Coach, and many others.

Since the 1980s, she has played a part in Ablaze in 2001 and Untamed Love, in 1994. This is pretty much all that has been heard of the former star since.
She released an autobiography entitled Let the Magic Begin where she detailed her career and personal life, including the lawsuit she filed against her ex-husband, Joe Theismann, for “abandoning his promise” to support her financially. Though she tried to sue him for $4.5 million, he filed a counter lawsuit, and they eventually both settled out of court.
