To this day, Olivia Hussey is probably still best known for her portrayal of Juliet in the 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet? She was just 17 when the movie was released, and it definitely kickstarted her career.
After her time as Juliet, she continued with works such as Black Christmas and Lost Horizon in the ’70s. It did not take long for her to become a leading lady of her time. Hussey is known for far more than just the ’70s, as her career has spanned about 50 years and she is still a working actress today.

She may be best known for Romeo and Juliet, but Hussey has done far more than just this breakthrough role. She was also in the miniseries based off of Stephen King’s horror novel It in 1990.
Aside from this, Olivia appeared in the film Death on the Nile, an adaptation from one of Agatha Christie’s books. Hussey has also lent her voice for various Star Wars related video games. She is even still working today, as she has a few works in production at the moment.
