On the 31st of March, 2007, Kate and William attempted to prove to the media that their relationship was still alive and well, by going out on a double date with friends Hugh and Rose van Cutsem at the King’s Head pub in Bledington.
A few days later, Kate flew to Ireland with her mother – and by April 3, 2007 – it was official. Kate and William’s great romance of four years was over. Of course, the attention of the public only increased – with many speculating what was the cause of their split.
