In fact, and speaking of Prince Charles, William actually faced a dilemma similar to the one his father had many years ago – but ended up making the opposite choice. When Charles was courting Diana, he eventually reached a crossroads.
His father, Prince Philip, said it was time to take action, one way or the other. Charles did – and proposed to the woman who would be William’s mother. Finding himself in the same situation, William also made a decision – but it was to break things off.
