While William was enjoying life as a man-about-town, Kate wasn’t exactly sitting at home crying into a tub of ice cream. However, she was seriously hurting on the inside.
Her therapy seemed to be an all-girl boat racing crew named The Sisterhood, which trained to participate in a charity boat race. Rower Emma Sayle, who was part of the same team, recalled Kate looking “very down.” She had always put William first, she added, and that was a real chance to do something that was strictly for herself.
