Troy Evans is one of those actors that you likely know you’ve seen a million times, but whose name you don’t necessarily remember. Besides playing Podacter in Ace Ventura, Evans most memorably appeared in hit medical drama ER as desk clerk Frank Martin.
Martin appears in about 130 episodes of the show, spread out across 15 years. An actual veteran of the Vietnam War, Evans often played authority figures, especially policemen or police detectives. He can currently be seen on detective show Bosch, playing… you guessed it, a detective.
