A lot of people like to stereotype cheerleaders as being dumb and only focused on boys. However, most people who cheer in high school are nothing like that. Rashida Jones certainly wasn’t. While the actress was a committed member of her spirit squad, she was also in the math club and the National Honor Society.
Collectively, these all took up a lot of Rashida’s time, but they helped her be a well-rounded student during her years in school. That’s undoubtedly benefited her now that she’s a big star.
