Ever since making that fateful decision, Chaz said that he’s “always hustling” to land significant roles. Had he been born a male in the first place, he explained, he would’ve just become an actor and that was that.
Since the transition took such a large chunk of his life, though, he only got into the biz relatively late in the game, and now had a lot of catching up to do. There was no helping it, he said, as acting is a job where “you have to be comfortable and in the right body to do it.”
