James Widdoes who played Stan Pembroke for the first season of “Charles in Charge” probably looked really familiar when he first starred on the show. The reason for this, is that he played Robert Hoover in the cult classic “Animal House” in 1978. This film showcased all of the comedic antics of various fraternities at Faber College. Widdoes would also go on to star in numerous television series after his first and only season in “Charles in Charge.”
