Flo from progressive has to be one of the most famous commercial characters in all of television history. Flo is a cashier at progressive who uses her upbeat attitude to sell us insurance. 
The character of Flo has become so successful that she has appeared in over 100 progressive commercials. Flo is portrayed by the actress Stephanie Courtney, who has appeared in shows such as Mad Men and Tom Goes to the Mayor. Before she made it onto the small-screen, Courtney was a member of an improv group in LA.
