When she was 16 years old, Ellie went under the knife for her very first surgery that would start the transformation. To change the size and the shape of her jaw, the surgeon cut her jaw in both a horizontal and vertical direction to allow more room for her teeth. Ellie spoke to The Daily Mail about her first surgery, and confessed that the whole ordeal was “really painful” and that she had no idea how the surgery on her jaw would affect every single aspect of her life afterward.
