After the month was over, Ellie began to regain use in her jaw. She was able to move it slightly, and she was even able to start talking. Yet, it wasn’t easy for Ellie. As she began to train her throat and her mouth to start talking, she was able to mumble small words and make coherent sentences, but there was one difference. Because her mouth was incredibly swollen, she had developed a lisp that would come out whenever she said certain words. The whole ordeal was incredibly stressful for Ellie.
