New Jersey has their own hockey team, but they don’t have their own football, baseball or basketball teams. Because of this, those in Jersey Shore and New Jersey have to pick a favorite team from out of state.
Many natives choose teams from the likes of New York and Philadelphia, but there are also others who go farther afield for their teams. This means that game day is always full to the brim with colored shirts and jerseys that all clash against each other. Quite literally.
