After falling into a depression that led to her contemplating taking her own life, she transferred to Utah for two years at a therapeutic school. Paris admitted, “I was crazy. I was going through a lot of like, teen angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety.” She explained how she felt a connection to her late father, who had his own struggles with depression – she was even taking the same antidepressants that he once had to take himself.
