Tori’s ex, Charlie Shanian, filed for divorce under irreconcilable differences shortly after the affair was found out. Shanian received the news not from Tori herself, but from a tabloid, in which Tori gave her new beau, fellow actor Dean McDermott, an intimate dance. They were only married for little over than a year before she broke her wedding vows. The debacle seemingly affected Shanian greatly, and he ended his acting career around that time. Shanian only returned to the entertainment industry as a writer and a producer in 2014.
