As a teenager, Gene tried hard to find what music worked for him. His first ever band was named Lynx, but when this didn’t feel right for him, Gene went down another route; he was the founder of Long Island Sounds. However, this wasn’t paying the bills so the musician had to get work where he could. One of Gene’s most notable jobs was trading old comic books – a passion that has stayed with him his entire life. Gene was struggling to find a band that worked together.
