The ’00s were an excellent time for Ciara. She bagged herself three consecutive top-three albums, the second of which peaked at number one on the charts. Collectively, these records sold over 4 million copies in the U.S. alone, and spawned hits like ‘Goodies’ and ‘1, 2 Step.’
Ciara’s musical success came quickly after her time at Riverdale High School, where she gained attention as captain of the cheerleading squad. Unfortunately, her cheerleading fell to the wayside when she became a musician.
