Steve Martin is known for his ability to make people laugh. Perhaps, initially, one would laugh if they heard that Steve was a cheerleader in high school, but this is actually not a joke!
Steve attended Garden Grove High School in sunny Southern California, and yelled and screamed to give the sports teams some moral support. It was on the cheer squad that Steve tested his comedic abilities – even writing funny cheers for them. Steve went on to rank as one of the best stand-up comics of all time.
