Elijah had said his mother never reacted or congratulated the couple on their engagement, even after they were married. The couple resided in Cher’s home for a while, and apparently things went sour, which is why they decided to elope in December.
He later tweeted that they weren’t invited to Cher’s home for Christmas – and he was feeling hurt about it. This wasn’t the first time Elijah and Cher had a falling out, as according to him, they went two years without speaking after he started his band.
