As you watch Charles in Charge and his various shenanigans with the Powell and Pembroke families you may have forgotten to ask yourself a very important question. What is Charles’ last name? Throughout the entire five seasons it is never mentioned, he is always simply Charles. Even when his mother Lillian guest stars in later seasons and becomes something of a series regular it is not mentioned. He will always just be Charles, the college co-ed and part-time caregiver.
