Jonathan Ward who played Douglas Pembroke has also been seen in a lot of well-known films after his stint on “Charles in Charge.” He starred in “Mac and Me,” “Steel Magnolias,” and as a voice actor in “Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest.” He was also cast in a number of television productions before he officially retired from acting in 2016. Some of these included, “Grace Under Fire” and “The New Twilight Zone.” He has also penned two documentaries and produced another titled “Great Books.”
