Indeed, one of the reasons This Is Us has such a strong ability to tug at the heartstrings of their avid viewers is because of a very constant theme – family. On the show, Kate Pearson is one of three triplets, the two others played by Justin Hartley (Kevin) and Sterling K. Brown (Randall). The relationship the three of them have is truly a special one, but it turns out that their deep bonds remain even when the camera isn’t rolling – perhaps this is why their scenes are so believable.
