In 2014, rumors began flying about a possible feud between Melissa and her cousin, Jenny McCarthy. “There is a crazy story going around that I once told my cousin, Melissa, that she would have to lose weight in order to get into show business. Nothing could be further from the truth,” Jenny said. These stories were only fueled when Melissa didn’t attend Jenny’s wedding that year. Jenny commented on this as well, saying Melissa wasn’t invited simply because they were planning an extremely small ceremony.
