The struggle for equal pay for women is a subject that’s been recently brought forth this past year, especially in Hollywood. Many actresses have been speaking up about being paid less than their male co-stars, saying it’s tougher to negotiate as a woman. “You’re torn down for speaking up, you’re already anticipating getting rejected…Women not being paid the same is completely bananas,” Melissa recently said. “The only thing I’ve ever thought was if I worked hard enough, I’m going to ask for it—and back it up with, ‘Here’s why.'”
