Maya St. Germain is a love interest for Emily Fields. Maya moves into the former house of the DiLaurentis family, becomes friends with Emily, and eventually the two start dating. However, she is sent away to the “True North” rehab facility, when her family discovers she’s been smoking an illegal substance. After going missing, it’s revealed that Maya has been stalked and later killed by her ex-boyfriend, because of her relationship with Emily. He doesn’t go unpunished, however, as Emily is eventually forced to kill him in self-defense.
