Although Joanna and Chip Gaines are often regarded as the power couple of home improvement, it seems as though some of their personal life has often landed them in hot water.
In November 2016, the couple were caught in a media storm after it was discovered that their pastor often preached against the likes of LGBT relationships and marriage. The couple were then called up on the fact that they had an LGBT couple on their popular TV show. They later wrote a blog post stating that they were in no way against same gender relationships.
