After Hurricane Sandy destroyed huge portions of the Jersey Shore, investors and the local government tried to put a huge amount of money back into the area.
They were able to transform the demolished buildings into luxury apartments and rebuild attractions and give the whole area a new lease of life. This was what the area needed, and as soon as it became a hot new destination near New York, resident New Yorkers began to buy property in Jersey Shore. It’s since become a vacation spot for these city workers.
