There are many stereotypes surrounding the people of New Jersey and Jersey Shore, and many of these are wrong. However, there are a few that are normally always right.
The stereotype that the people of New Jersey don’t pump their own gas is actually true for many residents. Pump attendants are everywhere in Jersey Shore, which means car owners don’t even have to get out of their vehicle to fill up their tank. After all, who would want to do that on a cold morning when someone else could do it for you?
