The Jersey Shore reality television show isn’t the only show to use New Jersey as its location. The crime drama, The Sopranos, was also based in this state.
This show follows the life of mobsters who go about their criminal dealings in the area, but it’s fair to say that this doesn’t really happen in real life. Italian mobsters don’t run around in their suits with their cigars, and Tony Soprano doesn’t just wander around the boardwalks with his crew in tow. However, there is a very large Italian population.
