Katniss Everdeen lives in the coal mining region of District 12, where she is responsible for the sustenance of her family. As compassionate as she is fearless, Katniss puts herself in danger more than once in order to save the people she loves.
For instance, she volunteers to go to the Hunger Games in place of her younger sister Primrose, and has to rely on her instincts as she fights for her life at the same time as she discovers love. Oh, she also unintentionally sparks a national revolution.
