Television station WUSA decided to do some digging into why Sharon had decided to delete her post, only to discover another colossal twist in the tale. It turns out that even though Sharon had claimed that this mystery charge had been happening for years to many different people, her mention of the event was the only one to appear on Facebook.
In fact, Sharon complaining about the phantom $10 charge was the only evidence of the scam on the whole internet!
