A young Joey Lauren Adams appeared in one her first acting roles as Mona Mullins in season five. Mona is the local teenager who had a crush on Kelly’s boyfriend Vinnie. She appeared the next season in a different role, as cousin Effie, and then the season after that, as Janie. In 1992, she continued on with her role as Mona Mullins in the short-lived spin-off series Vinnie & Bobby, which starred the pre-Joey from Friends, Matt LeBlanc.
