[post_page_title]Ben Stein- in school[/post_page_title]
Ben spent his childhood in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he attended and graduated from Montgomery Blair High School in 1962. He was a straight-A student and went on to study economics at Columbia College, where he graduated with honors. He went on to Yale Law School after that, and graduated as the valedictorian in 1970. The lawyer, teacher, and writer became famous in Hollywood after his short but memorable performance as the monotonous economics teacher in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. His unplanned acting career took off shortly after.
