In order to see how far the former Twilight star has come, it is important to look back at his roots. The truth is, he didn’t always want to be an actor. In fact, he initially preferred focusing on music and had plans of being a musician from a very young age. Born in London in 1986, Pattinson grew up with his parents and two older sisters in a small house in a town called Barnes, southwest of London.
At the age of four, Pattinson was already learning how to play both the piano and the guitar. His love for music poured into his later teen years and early twenties, when he used to perform acoustic gigs at open mic nights in clubs around London where he would play guitar and sing his self-written songs.
