Many studies have been conducted around winning the lottery. It has been found that almost one third of all lottery winners will declare bankruptcy after their win. One of the reasons for this is that the winner’s conditions became worse than their lives before.
Another reason is that a lottery winner might separate themselves from family members or friends or develop depression. This can lead to substance abuse problems and strained relationships in their lives.
