While Marie was struggling with her personal issues, she enlisted the help of Iyanla Vanzant who his a television personality as well as a published author. After Vanzant heard about Marie’s bad decisions, she knew it was time to step in and bring order to her life.
Vanzant is the host of the show called Fix My Life and she brought her crew to Marie who had no help or advice when she went from rags to riches. Vanzant believed that Marie’s problems stemmed from immaturity and not having respect for herself.
