Four different countries have tried to recreate the show throughout the years. First, in 2002, India attempted a remaking, titling it Meri Biwi Wonderful, meaning my wonderful wife. Next, in 2004, Japan tried its hand, creating Okusama wa majo, which means my wife is a witch.
This was also the title the American show was given when it originally aired in Japan. In 2007, Argentina made Hechizada, meaning haunted. Then, in 2008, BBC Three tried to remake the show, but only made a pilot. Lastly, Russia made their own version in 2009 called My Favorite Witch.
