In 2018, ABC was in the works to relaunch the much beloved Bewitched. This would theoretically be Kenya Barris’, creator of the show Black-ish, last work before switching to Netflix exclusively. It would be a single camera production, much as the original was.
This means that instead of a huge budget with sweeping shots, the production uses only one camera. Each scene is shot multiple times, from every angle necessary, to get the finished product. Think Friends, and you’ll understand what that means.
