Zendaya appears in the relatively new Spiderman: Homecoming film, where she plays the role of Michelle, Peter Parker’s curious peer at school. The two share a few touching, but overall unsensational encounters in the film. Still, in the last scene of the movie, she says that her friends “call her M.J.,” which turns a few heads, considering this is the same name of Spidey’s famous red-headed gal pal in the comics (even though M.J. is generally named Mary Jane, not Michelle).
