We’re not going to beat around the bush here: while Agent Sharon Carter’s role in the recent Avengers films is certainly important, her romantic relationship with Captain America is very strange, when you consider the nature of its context. We are talking, of course, about the fact that Captain America also had a romantic fling with Sharon’s great aunt, Agent Peggy Carter – around 70 years prior. Granted, his body was frozen for 70 years, but still… kind of awkward, no?
