Many of us witnessed the Princess of Pop’s unfortunate breakdown in 2007 when she was photographed shaving her head. Later that year, at the MTV Video Music Awards, Spears gave a highly criticized performance of her new single Gimme More, where she appeared to be sad and out of it – not at all like the energetic performances her fans were used to.
Luckily, Spears was able to make a remarkable comeback, so much so that many people often forget that 2007 ever happened.
