Although Kristen Stewart had already been acting for a few years, she was truly launched into fame in 2008 – after appearing in the beloved teen vampire film based off of the Stephanie Meyers novel series, Twilight. After appearing in the fifth and final installment of the popular franchise, Stewart moved on to several more roles in film.

However, since her and costar Robert Pattinson’s very public and dramatic breakup, she has been vocal about her distaste of fame. She even once compared being famous to having her “limbs cut off.”
