Before starring on Chopped, Geoffrey Zakarian rose to fame as a restaurateur. This means that as well as his many shows, Geoffrey also has several stakes in a variety of restaurants all across the nation. Sadly, that doesn’t mean the star is safe from any financial troubles. Shortly before taking home the title off Iron Chef: Super Chefs winner in 2011, Geoffrey was forced to file for bankruptcy. This was all down to former employees from a now-extinct restaurant.
