Chuck Norris was hardly a newcomer by the time he began Walker, Texas Ranger, as he already had a successful film career by that point. One of his films in particular was a big influence on the show, Lone Wolf McQuade. Like Walker, Norris’ character in the movie was a Texas Ranger who had no problem starting a fight for a righteous cause. Most of Norris’ projects tend to share certain attributes, and all show him being an awesome tough guy.
