Fans were devastated when CBS announced that Walker, Texas Ranger would be ending after nine seasons. There are all sorts of reasons that television executives end up canceling a show, but the culprit behind this decision was Chuck Norris himself. While he loved his time on the show, he wanted it to end on a high note, and not wait until viewership was down like other shows. Additionally, when it came time to renew the show, Norris’ wife was pregnant, and he wanted to be able to spend time with his family.
