In the most recently released X-Men: Apocalypse, we meet a bunch of new young characters, and one of them is Psylocke, played by Olivia Munn. Originally named Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock, she is a mutant with telekinetic abilities that include creating psionic weapons for herself – which, in her case, are generally swords. In the movie, she gets “collected” by the villain Apocalypse, who knights her as one of his Four Horsemen, expanding her powers in the process.
